This is me, the PG-13 version.
I have undergone some heavy persecution from my wifey about my curse words in my blogs. She doesn't actually read my blog but when she found out that I dropped a few "F" bombs she wasn't very happy. She begged me to take them out and I told her that I would think about it. I have thought about it and I won't drop any more "F" bombs. I can't promise that I won't curse at all but I will try to censor myself. In my few blogs that I have done, I have tried to make it not the "molly mormon" or "peter priesthood" cookie cutter blog. I am not going to talk about spiritual experiences, or lack thereof. I will also not talk about how much I love my family or anything else boring. If there is something in my life, some thought, experience, or anything else that is actually worth talking about, I just might write about it. But you can rest assured that I won't be talking about anything truly worth while. Most of it will be non-sense or mundane. If that is what you are in to, then enjoy! I was talking with my cousin Kenny the other day while we were driving to a jobsite about the different types of drivers that are on the road. We discussed "that guy" and the annoying things that he does as well as the annoying/discourteous things that we do as well. There is always the guy who is so impatient in a traffic jam that he has to use the shoulder to pass all of the courteous people who are waiting in line like they should. I love to be the guy who pulls halfway onto the shoulder so that "that guy" can't get past me. I feel that it is my duty to keep him from being a douche bag and cutting everyone. I will do everything in my power to keep him from getting ahead of me. Often times the cause of a traffic jam is because lanes are closed down and people can't merge properly. There is always the guy who waits until the absolute last minute to merge over. Even though he sees the merge signs and everyone getting over, he will speed ahead and cut off someone at the very last second before his vehicle hits the merge cones. Shamefully, I am "that guy" sometimes. I have no excuse but to admit that I am a douche bag who doesn't drive courteously when merging. Picture yourself driving down the freeway from Vegas to where ever you are going. You have your cruise control set at a safe 90 MPH and everything is fine. You look ahead and you see a trucker going the speed limit in the right hand lane. Not too far behind him is a car that is probably only going 77 MPH. He is going fast enough that he needs to pass the trucker but so slow that it will take forever for him to actually pull off the pass. You are approaching the trucker quickly and you notice that the timing couldn't be worse. The guy is going to have to go for the pass at the exact moment that you will be right on his tail. You hope and pray that he won't try to make the pass until after you do but luck is not on your side today. He pulls off a real jerk move and cuts you off so that he can make the pass. That is, in my book, the biggest no no on the road. Don't be a jerk and make a person driving faster than you take their cruise control off. Just wait for 15 seconds and let the guy pass you. After he has passed, you can resume your slow cruise and everyone is happy. If you really must cut the guy off then the least you can do is speed up until you pass the trucker. Don't keep your cruise at 77 mph while the guy behind you gets pissed off that you are slowing him down. That is just inconsiderate. On the road of life, the faster people have the right of way. There are many other things that "that guy" does that pisses you off. I am not going to get into all of them but I challenge you to try your best to not be "that guy."
